Expert Verdict
Samsung Galaxy A35 5G adopts a refined design language that borrows heavily from the brand's premium lineup, featuring a clean glass back and a sturdy frame that feels reassuringly solid in the hand. Its 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant colors and fluid scrolling with sufficient brightness for comfortable outdoor use. While the overall aesthetic is premium, the slightly noticeable bezels serve as a reminder of its mid-range positioning.
Performance is handled capably by the Exynos 1380 processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM. Everyday tasks like browsing, social media and multitasking run smoothly without issue. Gaming performance is decent for most titles at medium settings, though graphically intensive games may require some visual compromises. The One UI interface, based on Android, provides a clean, user-friendly experience and benefits greatly from Samsung's excellent long-term software support policy.
The camera system is led by a 50MP main sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro lens. In good lighting, the primary camera captures sharp, detailed photos with balanced colors, while low-light performance is acceptable without being class-leading. Battery life is a strong point with the 5,000mAh cell easily lasting a full day, though the 25W charging speed feels modest compared to rivals. Overall, the Galaxy A35 5G is a dependable all-rounder that shines in display quality, software commitment and consistent day-to-day performance.
