OnePlus has confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus 15R, its next high-end smartphone in the R series in India and global markets on December 17th.

The media kit also includes two magnetic cases—a Hole Pattern Magnetic Case and a Sandstone Magnetic Case—which will be sold separately at retail. These cases allow users to attach the 27W Magnetic Phone Cooler also sold separately. The design of these accessories closely resembles those available for the OnePlus 15.

Design and Build Quality

The OnePlus 15R features a metal frame that is on par with the company is flagship devices, marking a significant upgrade for the R series. On the right side, there is a dedicated "Plus Key" button. The smartphone will also support Plus Mind, OnePlus is proprietary AI technology.

The metal camera deco follows a similar design language to the OnePlus 15. For photography, the device utilizes the Detail Max Engine an imaging technology first introduced with the flagship OnePlus 15.

Color Options and Finishes

The OnePlus 15R will be available in three distinct colorways-

• Mint Green- Features a silk glass finish with a smooth, matte texture.

• Charcoal Black- Also sports a similar silk glass finish for a premium feel.

• Electric Violet- Features a fiberglass finish with a specialized coating that imprints the word "Ace" into the rear design. This variant will be branded as the OnePlus 15R Ace Edition.
