OnePlus 15T, launched in China with a 7,500mAh battery, 165Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, dual 50MP rear cameras, and up to 16GB RAM/1TB storage, starts at CNY 4,299 (approx. Rs. 58,000) and goes on sale March 25.

OnePlus 15T made its debut in China on Tuesday, joining the brand flagship smartphone range. The device comes in three color choices and five storage and memory configurations. It packs a 7,500mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 22.8 hours of online video playback on a full charge. The phone features a 6.32-inch display with a variable refresh rate ranging from 60Hz to 165Hz. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 series chipset. The OnePlus 15T also includes a dual rear camera system and runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
Pricing for the base model, which comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, starts at CNY 4,299 (approximately Rs. 58,000). The 12GB + 512GB version is priced at CNY 4,899 (around Rs. 67,000), the 16GB + 256GB variant costs CNY 4,599 (about Rs. 63,000) and the 16GB + 512GB model is set at CNY 5,199 (roughly Rs. 71,000). The top-end configuration with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is priced at CNY 5,699 (around Rs. 78,000).
Sales in China are scheduled to begin on March 25 at 10:00 AM local time (7:30 AM IST) through the Oppo China online store. The OnePlus 15T is available in three color options: Healing White Chocolate, Pure Cocoa and Relaxing Matcha.
This dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 16-based ColorOS 16. It sports a 6.32-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display (1,216 x 2,640 pixels) offering a 165Hz refresh rate, 1,800 nits of peak brightness and 460 ppi pixel density. The maximum refresh rate is only supported in six specific categories of mobile games. The screen has received TUV Rheinland Smart Eye Protection 5.0 and Low Blue Light certifications. The handset also comes with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
The device is driven by Qualcomm’s flagship 3nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This chip is part of OnePlus’s “E-Sports Triple-Core” system, which also includes the Lingxi touch response chip and the G2 Wi-Fi chip. To boost gaming performance, the phone includes a next-generation “Wind Chaser Gaming” kernel. The company claims the device scored over 4,450,000 points on AnTuTu. It supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra Pro RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
In terms of cameras, the OnePlus 15T features a dual rear camera setup with Oppo’s LUMO imaging engine. This includes a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary sensor using a Sony Ultra Vision sensor and a 50-megapixel (f/2.4) periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom and up to 7x lossless digital zoom. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel (f/2.4) front camera. The phone can record video at up to 8K resolution at 30 frames per second.
The OnePlus 15T is powered by a 7,500mAh Glacier Battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS. Sensors on board include a proximity sensor, orientation sensor, light sensor, gravity sensor, altitude sensor and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security. The phone measures 150.56 × 71.82 × 8.48 mm and weighs approximately 194 grams.
