The certification confirms a new device bearing a distinct model number and provides some insight into its connectivity features. Expected to launch as the global variant of the Redmi K90 Pro, the Poco F8 Ultra is likely to follow the Poco F7 Ultra, though the company has yet to officially acknowledge its development. The device is anticipated to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Expected Specifications and Features of the Poco F8 Ultra
The unannounced smartphone surfaced on the NBTC site with model number 25102PCBEG, confirming support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE and NR networks—indicating 5G compatibility. The listing also notes that the device is manufactured in China.
Earlier leaks suggest the Poco F8 Ultra may come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It is also rumored to house a substantial 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and support for wireless charging.
In terms of display, the Poco F8 Ultra is expected to feature an LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, possibly offering 1.5K or 2K resolution. For photography, it may include a triple rear camera setup with three 50-megapixel sensors- a primary unit with optical image stabilization (OIS), an ultrawide lens and a periscope telephoto lens. A 50-megapixel front camera is also rumored. Additional features may include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP69 rating for enhanced durability.
The Poco F8 Ultra will serve as the successor to the Poco F7 Ultra, which launched globally in March with a starting price of $599 (approximately ₹51,000).
