Tecno Camon 50 series, featuring a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio G200 chip and a 50MP main camera has been listed online ahead of its MWC 2026 preview with pre-orders live in Kenya starting at KES 34,999 (approx. Rs. 24,000).
Tecno Camon 50 series is set for a preview at MWC 2026, but the company has already listed the devices on its website, unveiling their full specifications, design and color variants. The lineup, consisting of the Camon 50 and Camon 50 Pro, boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Both models are powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate chipset and pack a 6,150mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Photography is handled by a 50-megapixel main camera featuring a 1/1.56-inch sensor.
Currently, pre-orders are live on Tecno Kenyan site. The Camon 50 Pro is priced at KES 38,999 (approx. Rs. 27,000) excluding VAT, while the standard Camon 50 is listed at KES 34,999 (approx. Rs. 24,000). Sales are scheduled to commence on February 23. Another local e-commerce platform, Priceinkenya shows slightly higher starting prices of KES 44,000 (approx. Rs. 31,000) for the Pro and KES 37,500 (approx. Rs. 26,000) for the standard model.
Tecno Camon 50 Pro Features
The Pro model runs on Android 16-based HiOS 16 and offers 8GB of RAM (expandable virtually to 16GB) with 256GB of storage. Its triple rear camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, it uses a 32MP camera. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and an IR blaster. It also features dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and measures 7.38mm in thickness.
Tecno Camon 50 Features
The standard Camon 50 shares the same processor, display, battery and front camera as its Pro sibling. The key difference lies in its dual rear camera setup, which features a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, omitting the telephoto lens. Color options for the standard model include Mint Cream alongside the shared finishes like Moonlight Black and Malachite Green.
